Hi, contemporary art is always a mixed bag. It's like a cabinet of curiosities or wonders, a collection of current trash and goodness, lacking the retrospective filter of historic museums, pretentiously called curation. However, this can also be an advantage. Art as a free playground for provocation, differentiation and exploration.
The Take Festival features over 60 rooms of wonders including live performances and shows. So take your time when visiting the festival. Also noteworthy is the cool location of the festival. It is hosted inside the old and abandoned, historic post office building "Alte Post" in Vienna, which acts as a perfect backdrop for the artsy installations.
