Hi, Le Loft is one of those type of luxury restaurants in Vienna where you cannot go spontaneously but need a prior reservation, unless you are a very very VIP, I guess ;)

Yes, this is bothersome, but if you accept the rules, you are rewarded with one of the chicest views over the city center of Vienna from the top floor of the Sofitel hotel.

The luxurious 5-star hotel by French architect Jean Nouvel opened last December 2010 and the glass-fronted building would not be as remarkable as it is without the colorful ceiling by Pipilotti Rist, which you can see from outside through the glass.

I recently visited the lounge bar with Bernhard and made these cool pictures. Sitting in the lounge felt a bit like being in an aquarium because of the elevated platform of the lounge and the colorful backlit, partly video animated ceiling.
